Rustic Tipi Wedding in Clapham , Rutland
I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Rebecca & Richards wedding earlier this summer at their beautiful family farm in Clipsham. The morning I arrived to Rebecca in Bridal Prep, I knew it was going to be a great day. She was getting ready at her parents house which is in the village of Clipsham and everything was running smoothly with her bridal squad and her mum at her side.
After taking a few shots of the girls and Rebecca getting their make up and hair done, I wondered upstairs to see the dress and WOW I was blown away. Rebecca had the dress designed and made by a family friend and it was breathtaking. After Rebecca informed me about their South African theme for the wedding and particularly concentrating on South African birds ( as this is a shared interest to both Rebecca & Richard) I completely understood why she decided to go for this particularly styled dress. The detail was outstanding and each individual feather was sewn on. Beautiful!!
The Ceremony was located at St Mary’s Church in Clipsham to keep things traditional for Rebecca & Richard and the celebrations were continued at the reception which was held on the family farm to Rebecca’s parents. Choosing a traditional sail cloth marquee the couple had thought of everything to make a picture perfect wedding. The details were incredibly thought out and games were provided with a surprise for the Groom to enjoy African Dancers entertain them and their guests during canapés and welcome drinks. The atmosphere was perfect and I feel so honoured to have been part of their day.
