My FAVOURITE wedding venue in Staffordshire (and that is saying something). Cotton House Farm have just got it figured out for being an exclusive venue. Coton House Farm effortlessly combines elegance with a relaxed country approach for luxurious, intimate weddings. After having a recent and extensive renovation, they offer a historic 18th Century Dairy Barn and the stunning Oak Barn which make incredible photos if thats your style.
Sophie & Chris first contacted me through my website after a friend recommended them to me and after being told about my documentary style photography they knew I would of been a perfect fit for them. I still remember their enquiry form which stated ” Low key and chilled Approx 65 guests. Really looking for natural and spontaneous pictures rather than posey!” and I just knew it was the perfect match!
In the process of the couple booking me, Sophie had fallen pregnant and still wanted to proceed with the wedding ( what a trooper) and I just knew she would make the most beautiful bride. And I was correct. With wanting a minimalistic wedding, the couple kept their details to classic and timeless which was perfect because it suited them to a tea.
However, my absolute favourite part of the day was when their precious and adorable Ellie (who is their gorgeous Cocker Spaniel) came along for some photos. I absolutely love dogs at weddings , I just think if they are part of you then why not have them be part of the biggest day of your life!? During Sophie & Chris’s couple portraits, they had organised for Ellie to come along for half an hour for some photos and it was perfect! She was so good and loved the attention from some of the guests.
So if your thinking of having your pooch come to your day for some photos, my advise.. DO IT! They are beautiful memories that will never be forgotten. Have a scroll for some “aww” moments.
